Recently Pete Veal joined the St Moritz Cricket Club committee. Pete has been involved with cricket in Switzerland for the last 12 years since moving to the Basel area from the UK (via
Kenya) in 2008!
We take this opportunity to introduce him (to those that don’t know him) to the wider Cricket on Ice community.

Debutants AID UK CC won the 2022 Cricket on Ice Trophy, beating Penguins CC & Touring Cavaliers into joint joint second place on net run rate.
Schutzkonzept / Protective Concept

As part of that requirement, all participants (players, officials, spectators, committee & staff) must conform to the COI Protective Concept.

The match schedule for Cricket On Ice 2022 has been announced. As is traditional, the Old Cholmeleians will start the tournament and will face the Touring Cavaliers.
Three matches for each team and each time a different opposition will (hopefully) determine the 2022 trophy winners!

Cricket on Ice Tournament Dinner

The 2022 Cricket On Ice tournament gala dinner will be hosted by Hotel Steffani in St Moritz Dorf.
The evening begins with an apéro from 7pm, kindly sponsored by our hosts, the Hotel Steffani, accompanied by our gala dinner pianist Peter Barth, after which guests will be invited to be seated for a delightful four-course meal created by the Hotel Steffani kitchen staff soon after 7.30pm.

Over the next few weeks we will introduce old & new faces in a series of short articles on our website & social media pages as we build up to the competition (17th-19th February 2022).

The Cricket On Ice chosen charity in 2022 is the Swiss League against Cancer (Krebsliga).
During the course of the event we will ask for donations for the Swiss League against Cancer (Krebsliga Schweiz) as we intend to raise money for this charity

Announcing Cricket on Ice 2022

Cricket on Ice 2022 will take place on the lake of St Moritz from Thursday 17th to Saturday 19th February 2022.
4 teams will participate in this 3-day T20 competition for the honour of lifting the prestigious #COI trophy.
