Introducing Alard Vermeulen
At the beginning of the year Alard Vermeulen joined the St Moritz Cricket Club committee to help us organise Cricket on Ice and be one of the few local residents in the club. Fortunately
for us Alard accepted immediately and we take this opportunity to introduce him to those that may not have necessarily met him (yet)!
"I’m Alard Vermeulen, I was born in 1978 in Winterswijk in the Netherlands. I played a little cricket at Kampong CC in Utrecht, where I went to University. I quit my studies to become a chef, a few years after I decided to come to Switzerland. I’ve now been in Engadin for just over 7 years, been living in St. Moritz for about one year. I still work in hospitality, share a flat with a mate of mine and enjoy life in the Engadin mountains!"
