Old Cholmeleians XI won three from three games, beating Cricket on Ice debutants Old Paulines, the Lyceum Alpinum and finally the hosts, St Moritz Cricket Club, to win the Cricket On Ice Trophy for the second successive year.
The tournament began with a 36 runs victory for Old Cholmeleians against the jet lagged debutants Old Paulines.
M.Khaligue was impressive for the OCs with the bat scoring 35, while on-loan Khawer Memon took a 4 wicket haul giving away just 8 runs in the process.
The second game on the opening day witnessed a surprise win for Lyceum Alpinum beating the hosts, St Moritz Cricket Club by 9 runs, A b Jung leading the upset with 35 runs with the bat for LAZ.
On the second day of the tournament Old Cholmeleians scored an emphatic 7 wicket win against Lyceum Alpinum despite an unbeaten 42 from Lyceum's Paul Miles, while Prafull Shikare scored 56 to help St Moritz win easily against Old Paulines by 5 wickets and give the hosts an outside chance of winning the trophy.
On the final day Lyceum Apinum beat Old Paulines by 33 runs, J.King with an unbeaten 65 for Lyceum. And Old Cholmeleians beat the hosts by just 3 runs in an exciting finale to the tournament, E Tse & O Bishop taking 3 wickets each for the OLCS and with it securing a second consecutive Cricket On Trophy victory.
